Ascension v4 Released on Steam & Itch
The new iteration of the Ascension Gamebook by Kudomos has released on Steam & Itch Marketpaces. The Alpha Release is a culmination of years of work developing this narrative adventure, written by Kudomos. Setting the technological standard for subsequent Gamebooks, the new UI with Mini Games and Item Storage is a progressive development for this niche genre. Focusing on quality of story instead of novel (combat) mechanics, the Ascension Gamebook presents an accurate description of the Magical acolytes perilous journey to mastery. A Dungeons and Dragons settings of High fantasy with fantastical beasts, magic and races, the game's sorcery based on magical spells is an original creation by Kudomos, conceived on nearly 40 years of Gaming XP since first undertaking such recreation on the Commodore 64 followed by the Commodore Amiga in the 1980's.
